For any film or TV show to work, you need three things: the writer, the director, and the editor.
Editors are the unsung heroes of visual entertainment. They skillfully weave audio and video in order to "charm" the audience. The job of an editor is a paradox: when an editor has done their job correctly, you'll never be aware that they did it.
I've been lucky enough to work on indie films and award-winning documentaries. And if you've watched special features on a DVD or Blu-Ray in the last decade, chances are you saw some of my work.
